haha...the ride is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! it was worth every cent..and really....10s of pure adrenaline. my heart was pumping and my hand was shaking even aft the ride..it is..by far..one of the best things i have ever done. (: feel so satisfied today. the adrenaline drove me crazy....waiting was bad. we saw 2 groups do it before us..and we heard a lady screaming away...adri and i nearly backed out...hahah...we were wondering why we were doing it while being strapped in. i applaude the safety standards though...there were 5 buckles..and the operator has the key to that so when i panic..i don't accidentally snap myself loose..(:
ok..here's what happened...we had the sun in our faces..our eyes were shut..we heard "be prepared to scream in 3...2...1.."..there was a pause..and suddenly..we were on top of the world! it took just a split second. my eyes open..and i saw myself falling to the ground. of course i screamed...i even cursed...haha..then again...so did adri...which shocked me! (: when we saw the video..we realised the capsule somersaulted because in my state of panic, i brought my knees up (reflex action) and so..it changed the whole balance of the capsule...throwing us around..and i happened to want to take in the sights while we faced the fround on the way down. we were basically thrown around quite violently..i was lifted from the seat!!
i stepped off the ride laughing...it was fantastic..adri and i have a date for christmas 2006..we're going at night..haha..to see the lights from the top of the world. why 2006? we need time to get over the shock! (:
i'm still savouring the moment..and grinning from sheer pleasure. (:
